We recently added “rainbow” as a color option for many of our products, and we wanted to show some product images to illustrate how rainbow filament prints. For context, in 3D printing, filament is the plastic that is used to create the 3D models. The filament is wound onto a spool, typically weighing 1kg. For rainbow filament, the filament on the spool is multicolored, gradually changing color as the 3D model is printed.
As you can see, the color gradually changes as the model is printed from bottom to top.
We’re continuously adding new color options – let us know if you would like to see a color we don’t currently offer!
